Through the power of social enterprise thousands and thousands of pounds of food are collected, repurposed and distributed to people in need every month in Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe.
Food is distributed to Children’s Homes, Homeless Support Centers, Domestic Violence Shelters, Elderly Support Homes and direct to families in need through the region.

here are some ways that you can help us add value to the community and assist those in need

- Café Support: Barista, serving, dishwashing, shopping, customer service, cooking. No Japanese required. Your shift directly supports the food bank’s funding.
- English Conversation Assistance: Join small classes, run pair talks, support games and pronunciation practice. Even Japanese people with just a little English ability can participate!
- Food Bank Delivery: Driver’s license required, ideally able to drive a small van.
- Media & Storytelling: Shoot short videos and photos, simple reel editing, create one good post per day.
- Repairs & DIY: Build shelves, paint, do minor repairs, organize tools.
- Graphic / Web / Programming: Create signs, checklists, safety sheets.
- Clerical Work: Organize spreadsheets, create inventory labels, enter data.
